Awareness Assembly on Voting

As we know that schedule for the General elections-2020 has been declared. In a Democracy, elections are the biggest opportunity to bring about the changes. And VOTE is the biggest weapon for this change. To bring this change one must be fully aware about their rights and responsibility of Voting. To increase such awareness a small assembly was organized in the S.N. Public High School, Ludhiana where students was provided knowledge about Voting ,its importance & its role in development of Country.

Three Members of Voting Community arrived school to provide knowledge to students. Mr. Vinay out of them gave a brief speech on Voting and educated the students about its significance. Kreena and Prabhjot students of +2 Arts in our school presented a poem and speech based on theme of Voting respectively.

Manager Mr. Nachhattar Singh also shared their views on the Voting System in our country with the students. Principal Anu Bala motivated the students to know about their duties and responsibilities to be a good citizen through her motivating speech. At last all students vowed to spread the knowledge they gained from assembly about voting and would tell their parents to cast their votes with utmost care.
