Independence Day Celebration-2021
75th Independence Day of our Great Nation was celebrated in S.N. Public High School, Ludhiana with great enthusiasm and lively spirit. A series of different performances was arranged in which a lot of students participated. Manager Mr. Nachhattar Singh presided over the Program. The celebrations started with courageous & compendious speech by him following the Cultural Programme. Patriotic Poems and Songs were recited by the students. Some students presented the group dance whereas some other presented skit based on the life & struggle for freedom of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. These were the sincere gestures & attempts by students to pay tribute to freedom fighters & personalities who had contributed a lot in the freedom of our country.
Fancy Dress theme was also organized for Pre-Primary Section in which students were dressed as famous political personalities, freedom fighters and soldiers. In remembrance of our great Nation builders kids were dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawaharlal Nehru, Rani Laxmi Bai, Indira Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu, Savitribai Phule etc.
This celebration of Independence Day also came as an opportunity to felicitate the prize winners of ADSAT Competitive Exam. Students were awarded Medals of Gold & Silver alongwith certificates by Manager & Principal.
In the end, event was concluded with vote of thanks by Principal. She said that the freedom we are celebrating toady came to us after almost a century of torment & struggle and it is the responsibility of every citizen of country & upcoming generation to preserve it.
At last teachers & students all together sang the National Anthem & took pledge to respect & serve our great Nation in all possible ways.
