Lohri Celebration

Under the holy blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Jee Maharaj in the School premises Lohri festival was celebrated with gaiety by Middle and Secondary Wing of S. N. Public High School. The mood on the school was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. Students & Staff of SNPHS celebrated Lohri with great enthusiasm and enjoyment. Ms. Amarjit & Ms. Sonia Aneja handled the anchoring of whole function. Various Games were played in which every student took active part. Some students sang song and some of them delivered inspirational speeches on the occasion of Lohri. Ms. Sukhwinder Kaur also gave a speech and informs the students about history of celebration of Lohri. Bunty of class 8 sang a very melodious song immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab. The teachers also performed a group song. Manager gave their blessings to the students and faculty. Principal Mam thanked everyone for their immense effort in making this celebration a success. She also emphasized that Lohri festival prompts people to be thankful for God’s provision and also encouraged teachers to play a vital role to keep the tradition and culture alive in our festivities. In the last students stole the show by singing the Lohri song ‘Sunder Munderiye’.
